The difference between CKD and SKD TV sets
CKD TV kit refers to the Completely Knocked Down assembly of all parts, all disassembled into small parts and then assembled by the import manufacturer.
SKD TV kit refers to Semi-Knocked Down semi-component assembly, which refers to the disassembly of finished TV sets into semi-finished products such as movement, panels, accessories, etc., which are assembled by imported manufacturers.
CKD and SKD are generally used frequently in low-developed countries. Their import tax rate and freight are lower than the way of importing finished TV products. Assembling also requires hiring workers and paying wages, increasing the local employment rate in these countries.
